Privacy policy.
This page describes exactly what this website does with your information. It is short because the site does very little — there is no tracking, no advertising, and no profile being built about you.
The short version
We collect what you type into the contact form, so that we can reply to you. That is it. This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no social widgets, and does not share your details with anyone for marketing purposes.
What we collect
Information you send us. If you use the contact form, you give us your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message. You may optionally give us a phone number, a company name, and a budget range. If you email or call us directly, we hold whatever you choose to tell us.
Nothing else. This website does not run Google Analytics or any comparable tracking service. There is no advertising pixel, no heatmap recorder, and no cross-site tracking.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies at all.
If you use the “reduce motion” control in the footer, your preference is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. That value never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We hold contact enquiries in order to reply to you and, if it goes further, to quote for and carry out work. In data-protection terms that is your consent when you send the form, and thereafter our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry and performing a contract you have asked us to enter into.
Who processes it
Contact form submissions are delivered to our inbox through a third-party form-delivery service. That service processes the submission solely to pass it to us; it does not use your details for its own marketing.
Our email is hosted by our hosting provider, and the website is served by a content delivery network which processes standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. We do not use those logs to build any profile of visitors.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within two years. Records relating to actual projects are kept for as long as we need them for the work and for the statutory periods that apply to business and tax records in India, and then deleted.
Where it goes
We are based in India and your information is processed here. Our form-delivery service and content delivery network operate internationally, so a submission may transit servers outside India on its way to our inbox.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@ambiwebsolutions.com and we will action it — normally within a few working days, and in any case within one month.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you also have the rights available to you under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, including the right to object to processing, the right to restrict it, the right to data portability, and the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries reach us by email, which we protect with the usual account security measures. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send passwords, card details, or identity documents through the contact form. We will never ask you for any of those by email.
Children
This site is a business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Where we link out — for example to our LinkedIn or Instagram profiles — those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for what they do with your information once you are there.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle enquiries will be described here rather than made quietly.
