Learning management systems.
If you teach something, at some point a folder of PDFs and a WhatsApp group stops being enough. An LMS is the platform that takes over — enrolments, lessons, assessment and payment in one place.
How we build them
We build course platforms on WordPress, using an established LMS plugin as the engine rather than writing one from scratch.
That matters for the same reason it matters everywhere else on this site: you get a platform that thousands of developers understand, no per-student licence fee, and your course content stays in a database you own. Custom-built learning platforms are expensive to make and considerably more expensive to maintain.
The work is in the configuration and the interface, not in reinventing enrolment logic.
What a platform includes
- Course, module and lesson structure you can extend yourself
- Video, audio, PDF and downloadable resources per lesson
- Enrolment rules — open, paid, invite-only, or drip-released over time
- Quizzes, assignments and pass marks
- Progress tracking, and certificates on completion
- Payment gateway integration, including one-off and subscription access
- Student accounts with a dashboard showing where they left off
- An admin view of enrolments, completions and revenue
Worth deciding early
Who is allowed in, and how
One-off purchase, a subscription, a code your sales team hands out, or an approval step you control. This decides how the whole platform is wired, so it is the first question we will ask.
Where the video lives
Hosting video on your own web hosting will be slow and expensive at any real volume. We normally put it on a dedicated video host and embed it privately. We will tell you what that costs before you commit.
What counts as finished
Watching a video, passing a quiz, or submitting an assignment for marking? If certificates matter to your students, this defines what they are worth.
Who adds the next course
It should be you. We build the admin side so a non-technical member of your team can add a course, upload lessons and open enrolments without calling us — and we train them on it before handover.
