E-commerce development.
Most store platforms charge you rent, and then take a cut of what you sell. We build on WooCommerce, where the platform itself costs nothing per month and takes nothing per sale.
What you actually pay
You pay for hosting, your domain, and your payment gateway’s per-transaction fee. Those go to the hosting company and the gateway — not to us, and with no markup.
On a store doing modest volume that difference is a few thousand rupees a month. On a store that is working, it is a great deal more — and it scales with you rather than against you.
If you would genuinely rather be on Shopify, we will build you a Shopify store and tell you honestly what it will cost you every month. We just won’t put you there by default.
What a store includes
- Product catalogue with categories, variants and stock tracking
- Indian payment gateway integration
- Cash on delivery, with rules — restrict by pin code, order value or product
- Shipping and delivery-charge logic, including free-delivery thresholds
- Multiple staff logins with separate roles
- Order emails, invoices and status updates configured and tested
- Product pages built for search: unique titles, descriptions, structured data
- The whole checkout tested end to end, on desktop and mobile, before launch
Work out your fulfilment model before you build
How you get products to customers changes what your store has to do. Decide this first — it is expensive to change afterwards.
Drop shipping
You list and sell; your supplier ships directly to the customer. You never hold stock, so start-up cost is low and your range can be wide. The trade-offs are thin margins and no control over packing or delivery times — when a supplier is slow, the complaint still lands on you.
Your store needs tight supplier stock syncing and honest delivery estimates.
Wholesaling
You buy in bulk at trade prices, hold stock, and sell at retail. Margins are considerably better and you control the customer experience end to end. It needs capital up front and somewhere to keep the stock.
Your store needs accurate stock counts — overselling what you don’t have is the fastest way to lose a customer.
Traditional order fulfilment
You hold your own stock and pack and ship every order yourself. Complete control over quality and presentation, and the cheapest option at low volume. It stops working at the point where packing orders becomes someone’s full-time job.
Your store needs a clean order queue and printable picking lists.
Outsourced fulfilment
Your stock sits in a third-party warehouse; they pick, pack and ship on your behalf. You pay per order and give up some control over packaging, but it scales without you touching a box.
Your store needs a live integration with the warehouse so orders flow automatically.
Not sure which one you’re on? Say so on the call. It is a fifteen-minute conversation that saves a rebuild.
Two things that decide Indian store revenue
Cash on delivery is still expected
In much of India, removing COD removes sales. But it raises return rates and ties up your cash while the money sits with the courier. The answer is not to refuse it — it is to control it.
We set COD up so you can switch it off above a certain order value, restrict it to serviceable pin codes, or exclude fragile and made-to-order items.
Most full carts never get paid for
People abandon checkout because the delivery cost appeared late, the form asked too much, or they were forced to create an account.
We build checkout the other way round: delivery cost shown before checkout starts, the shortest form that legally works, guest checkout on by default, and an abandoned-cart email that goes out automatically.
